Baby Arnold's Quilt - made for the baby daughter of my husband's work colleague. each log cabin square is made with only three different materials, blue centre and the two halves, which make an interesting variation on the traditional style of the log cabin pattern. centre blue squares give the quilt an overall colour coherence. i really enjoyed doing this quilt. even though the colours are not as defined as i once might have wanted, i am pleased with the look. the double border looks well, too, with the peach colouring. quilted in the ditch, the batting is 100% cotton. for another cotsize quilt using a similar style of pattern, please see "Poppy's Quilt".
